Sudhurpaschim Chief Minister Taking Vote Of Confidence

Apr 30, Kathmandu-Sudurpaschim Province Chief Minister Dilg Bahadur Sodari is taking the vote of confidence on the 21st i.e. Friday.

The joint meeting of the parties in the ruling coalition held at the office of the Chief Minister and Council of Ministers this morning agreed that the Chief Minister will take a vote of confidence on Friday. According to Man Bahadur Dhami, the leader of the Maoist Central Province Parliamentary Party, an agreement has also been reached to give one more ministry to the Nagarik Unmukti Party. According to the agreement, NUP will get the Ministry of Land Management, Agriculture and Cooperatives. Dhami said that there was an agreement to appoint Tika Thapa, a member of the Naupa Provincial Assembly, as a minister and take oath today.

Sodari was appointed as the Chief Minister on the 6th of Baisakh with the support of UML, Maoist Center, Nagarik Unmukti Party and independent state assembly member Joshi along with the United Socialists. Kailash Chaudhary of Naupa has been appointed Minister of Physical Infrastructure Development by Sodari and has kept other ministries with himself. Sodari has asked the UML and the Maoist Center to participate in the government. However, it is said that both parties replied that they will participate in the government only after the vote of confidence.
