Mobile Phones Prohibited In Class 12 Examination Center

Apr 30, Kathmandu- The National Examination Board (NEB) has banned the use of mobile phones in examination centres. The board has banned the use of mobile phones in class 12 examination centers.

To conduct the annual examination of Class 12 in a dignified and orderly manner, it was strictly prohibited for anyone other than the centre chief to carry mobile phones in the examination hall. However, the board has said that the unauthorized use of mobile phones has been found in some examination centers and is completely prohibited in the examination centers.

According to the board, after it was found that some examination centers are using mobile phones to cheat in the exam, such mobile phones are being confiscated and action is being taken.

According to the board, action will be taken according to the rules if anyone is found carrying or using a mobile phone during the monitoring at various levels. The board has also instructed the center presidents to do accordingly.
