Apr 30, Kathmandu- The Chief Minister of Karnali Province, Yamlal Kandel, has expanded the Cabinet by keeping the Ministry of Law, which is part of the UML, with himself. Similarly, he has added a minister of state.

In Karnali, where there is a three-party alliance, Chief Minister Kandel has appointed Sher Bahadur Budha as the Minister of Physical Infrastructure and Urban Development and Binod Kumar Shah as the Minister of Lands, Management, Agriculture and Cooperatives from his party UML. He has made MP Gomata BK the Minister of State for Physics.

Similarly, from the ruling party CPN-Maoist Center, Mahendra KC has become the Minister of Economic Affairs and Planning, Rana Singh Pariyar has become the Minister of Energy and Water Resources, Bir Bahadur Shahi has become the Minister of Social Development and Durga Rawat has become the Minister of Industry, Tourism, Forestry and Environment.
