21 Injured In A Bus Accident In Kagbeni Of Mustang

Apr 30, Kathmandu- The bus returning after visiting Muktinath met with an accident on Tuesday morning at Baragung Muktichhetra-4 Kagbeni turn in Mustang.

According to the district police office Mustang, the passenger bus No. 3-01-006 B 622, which had come to Mustang from Kathmandu with college students to visit Muktinath, had an accident while returning from Muktinath to Jomsom at 9 am at Kagbeni turn.

The bus was carrying 30 student passengers including the driver. Fourteen men and seven women were injured in the bus accident. After receiving information about the bus accident, Chief District Officer of Mustang Janakraj Pant, District Police Office Mustang Deputy Superintendent of Police Bhojraj Pandey and security personnel of Kagbeni Police Station reached the bus accident site.

People's representatives of local bodies and locals were also involved in the rescue at the accident site. In coordination with the police and the administration, the injured in the bus accident were taken to Mustang Hospital for treatment. Deputy Superintendent of Police Bhojraj Pandey informed that the condition of the injured in the bus accident is normal and they are undergoing initial treatment.
