May 02, Kathmandu- The case related to 'contempt of court' filed against Yuvraj Kandel, the publisher of 'Sidha Kura.com' and others, has come before the joint bench of Justices Hari Prasad Phuyal and Mahesh Sharma Paudel.

Earlier, the court had taken the statement of the opposition. Supreme Court Sub-Registrar Govinda Prasad Ghimire has filed a contempt case in the Supreme Court against the YouTube channel called Sidha Kura.

It has been claimed in the writ petition that the content circulated serially uploaded on social media with the title of 'Sting operation of the meeting attended by Supreme Court judges to dismiss more than 400 corruption cases' is premeditated, misleading and planned.
