The Samajwadi Party held a demonstration at Maitighar in Kathmandu on Saturday, demanding that initiatives be taken to control the increase in air pollution across the country, including Kathmandu, and the direct impact on people's health.

Increasing air pollution and the health complications it brings from children to ordinary citizens; According to the participants in the demonstration, the government's indifference in controlling the fires across the country is visible.

Manushi Yami Bhattarai, the leader of Nepal Samajwadi Party, said that this demonstration is to warn against the government's very weak accountability regarding the environmental crisis and neglect of the measures that should be taken in time for prevention. She said that the government should be serious about ensuring the constitutional fundamental right to a clean environment.

The participants in the demonstration displayed placards saying that the leaders live in AC, the people live in dust and smoke, we feel empty when we see the fire in our forest, and the government feel sleepy in this situation.
