10,000 Affected By The Volcano In Indonesia Being Permanently Relocated

May 05, Kathmandu- In Indonesia, preparations are being made to permanently relocate all the local people who are in danger of the Ruang volcano. It has been said that the government is going to take this step after the series of volcanoes started rising in that area.

It is said that about 9,800 people live in Praydeep. Volcanic eruptions have increased in recent weeks in Ruwang, North Sulawesi Province.

Officials had warned of a high risk of volcanic eruptions this week. The airport in Manado has also been closed. A warning has been given that if some part of the mountain collapses, a tsunami may also occur.

Human Development Minister Muhadzir Efendi has said that they are going to move the affected people in Bolang Mongondo area by building hundreds of normal and permanent houses. President Joko Widodo has directed that houses be built according to disaster standards.
