The Bagmati Province Council of Ministers meeting has announced a public holiday in the province today on the occasion of Newa (Newari) and Tamang languages ​​being practically used in government work.

According to the decision of Baisakh 12, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Law had published a notice in the gazette regarding the holiday today. There is a program to launch Newari and Tamang language as official working languages ​​in the province by organizing a ceremony today in Basantapur, Kathmandu.
