May 07, Kathmandu- The police have arrested 13 people from Butwal in Rupandehi on charges of being involved in online fair play betting site gambling (betting).

The police arrested them on Monday afternoon while they were gambling on the first and second floors of a house in Kalikanagar, Butwal sub-metropolitan city-11.

They were arrested when the police deputed from the area police office, Butwal, conducted a raid based on information that they were operating an online fair play betting site by renting a house.

According to the police, 13 laptops of different companies, 39 mobile phones and other electronic devices were recovered from them.

According to District Police Office Rupandehi, 21-year-old Bhim Sen of Rajasthan Hanumannagar Mastwani Panchayat, 13 people were arrested.

According to the police, further investigation is ongoing regarding this incident.
