Vaccination To Children Against Polio From 13th Jestha In Mugu

May 13, Kathmandu- In four local levels of the district, from Jestha 13 to 26, children will be vaccinated against polio. The decision was taken by the Committee on Inactivated Polio Vaccine (IPV) Immunization held on Monday.

According to the District Health Office, 2,926 children between the ages of 5 and 8 will be vaccinated against polio.

Dr. Kamal Dhungana, acting head of the office, said that 2,926 children were missing from June 2073 to 075 Bhadra due to lack of vaccination. According to him, during this period, routine vaccination will also be conducted in the campaign, including the missing children.

Mugum Karmarong Rural Municipality, which is in the eastern part of the district, is likely to be affected by this campaign. The rural municipality has fixed the date of collection of Yarsa for one month from 15th of Jestha.
