May 20, Kathmandu- The 'Damphu Selo' program has been started for the promotion of (songs) popular among the Tamang community, traditional Baka Selo, Phapare Byai etc. General Secretary of Nepal Tamang Ghedung, Jagat Dong, has informed that Damphu and Selo program released on the Youtube channel of Indigenous Television will be broadcast every Friday at 8 pm on Indigenous Television ITV Nepal.

He said that a platform has been given to interested artists through 'Damphu Selo' program to show their talent by using the words of traditional songs and instruments in the community. Famous singers Milan Lama, Phulkumar Bamjan, Geeta Yonjan and others performed in the first series of the Damfu and Cello program.
