Lack Of Medicine In The District Hospital Of Humla

May 20, Kathmandu- There is a shortage of medicines in the district hospital in Humla.

Although the number of seasonal patients is increasing, the patients going for treatment are facing problems due to lack of medicine in the hospital. Due to the lack of medicine in the 15-bed district hospital since last May, patients have complained that they are forced to buy the medicine prescribed by the doctor from a private medical center. The number of patients have increased due to the increasing summer heat. The customer complains that they do not get medicines for colds, coughs and other diseases in the distribution room. There is no free medicine available in the hospital.
