Home And Sports Minister Met Gyanendra Shahi And Paras For Sandeep's Visa

May 23, Kathmandu- Chief whip of Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) Gyanendra Shahi and Secretary of Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) Paras Khadka have met various ministers for Nepali leg-spinner Sandeep Lamichhane's US visa.

RPP Chief Whip Shahi along with CAN Secretary Khadka met various ministers demanding that Sandeep, who is ready to play T20 World Cup cricket, be taken initiative after America refused to give him a visa.

Both of them have met and discussed with Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Rabi Lamichhane and Sports Minister Birajbhakta Shrestha.

According to Shahi, the Prime Minister's Secretariat has also been contacted by telephone and asked to take initiatives for visas.

Sandeep was denied a visa by the American Embassy on Wednesday. Sandeep himself confirmed the matter through social media.

In 2019, when the United States refused to grant a visa, Sandeep wrote on social media, and the embassy called him.
