6 Indian Tourists Injured In Jeep Accident

Jun 02, Kathmandu- Six Indian citizens were injured when a jeep carrying tourists met with an accident in Chitwan. According to the district police office, the jeep went out of control and the accident occurred. According to the police, all those injured in the accident are from Bendali police station in Mumbai, Maharashtra province, India.

Jeep No. 4 Ch 8855, which was going to Chitwan National Park through Kumroj Community Forest, had an accident today near Khairhani Municipality-12 Darai Lake.

The injured are 52-year-old Sushmita Sudesh Khadia, 74-year-old Rekha Ramchandra Jadav, 60-year-old Sudeshshankar Khadia, 64-year-old Vijay More, 58-year-old Baishali Gupteshwar and 62-year-old Pankaj Gupteshwar.

The injured tourists are being treated at hospitals in Ratnanagar and Bharatpur.
