Kathmandu Will Organize 'Women Of The World Festival' In November

Jun 02, Kathmandu- In November, Kathmandu Metropolitan City is going to organize the 'Women of the World Festival' in collaboration with the British Council.

Sunita Dangol, deputy head of the metropolis, who came to the country after participating in the 'Women of the World Festival' organized in Manchester, UK, said that she will organize it. She said that she got an opportunity to understand the situation of women in the world from various dimensions including family, social, political and economic.

In the conference in which Deputy Chief Dangol participated, world-class speakers from various fields including music, art, literature, politics, actors, and writers were invited. Representing the political sector, Australia's first female prime minister, Julia Gillard and Dangol, gave their opinion.

Jude Kelly, the founder of the 'Women of the World' campaign, spoke at the dialogue session of the festival. On the invitation of the British Council, Dangol went to the UK on Jestha 9.
