Prime Minister Prachanda Has Reached New Delhi

Jun 09, Kathmandu- A delegation including Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda', who went to India to participate in the swearing-in ceremony of his counterpart Narendra Damodardas Modi, has reached New Delhi.

Prime Minister Prachanda was received at the Indira Gandhi International Airport by officials of the Indian Ministry of External Affairs.

Prime Minister Dahal is accompanied by personal secretary Ganga Dahal, Minister of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Padam Giri, Foreign Secretary Seva Lamsal and other high-ranking government employees.

Prime Minister Modi is scheduled to take oath for the third term this evening.

According to the Embassy of Nepal in New Delhi, a meeting between Prime Minister Dahal and him is planned this evening after Modi, the leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party, takes oath. Prime Minister Dahal is scheduled to return home tomorrow.
