Jun 10, Kathmandu- On Monday, an emergency rescue exercise was conducted at Tribhuvan International Airport.

According to international standards and regulations, a full-scale emergency drill has been exhibited at Tribhuvan International Airport.

Accordingly, flights and landings have been stopped for half an hour at Tribhuvan International Airport on Monday afternoon.

The Civil Aviation Office of Tribhuvan International Airport issued a notice that air flights have been suspended from 1:00 to 1:30 PM.

From 1:00 p.m., the exercise was carried out according to the airport emergency plan with the participation of various agencies related to air flight and security and medical and rescue.

In that sequence, full-time preparations have been made for Alert 9.31 (aircraft crash at the airport) among various exercises.

The main objective of this exercise is to enhance cooperation between the various agencies involved in crises.

In the course of this exercise, smoke was released in the airport area like the scene after a plane crash.

During the exercise, fire brigade, security personnel, ambulance and other rescue activities were shown.
