Jun 15, Kathmandu- Danphe Hotel And Lodge located in Chayannath Rara Municipality-3 Lamachaur in Mugu district has been destroyed by fire. The hotel is located in an intermediate area under the Rara National Park.

Nanda Bahadur Rawal, Ward Chairman of Municipality-3, informed that the wealth, goods and grain of Danphe Hotel owner Lalchand Bhandari were burnt to ashes due to the fire. A sudden fire broke out in the hotel last night from around 9 to 10 o'clock.

Although there was a security check post of the Nepali Army under the Rara National Park office near the hotel, it was difficult to put out the fire there due to the lack of army personnel and the absence of other locals.
