Jun 16, Kathmandu- Kathmandu Metropolitan City Mayor Balen Shah expressed his anger after the postponement of the Municipal Assembly.

Mayor Shah became angry after UML and Congress representatives boycotted the Municipal Council meeting which was called to discuss the annual policies and programs presented on June 32 for the financial year 2081/82.

Mayor Shah warned not to bring Nepali Congress and UML to the Municipal Assembly of Kathmandu Metropolitan City. He said that because of 3 leaders, the right to speak of 160 people's representatives was violated, he mentioned that no activity of the metropolis will remain secret.

"Any policy or plan of Kathmandu metropolis cannot be discussed in a closed room," he wrote, "Whatever happens, every citizen can see it when they are interested. This is the reason why we have made the town council live".
