Courtesy Meeting Of CPPCC Vice President With Prime Minister

Jun 16, Kathmandu- Vice President of Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) Bateer had a courtesy meeting with Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal (Prachanda) today. In the meeting held at the Prime Minister's Office at Singha Durbar, bilateral relations, mutual cooperation and the implementation of various agreements and agreements between the two countries were discussed.

In the meeting, Prime Minister Prachanda expressed his happiness that the agreements made during his recent visit to China are being gradually implemented. He thanked the Chinese government for bringing the traditional 14 checkpoints in the Nepal-China border area into operation and for gradually implementing important agreements.

Prime Minister Prachanda expressed his belief that other agreements between the two countries will also be gradually implemented. They also discussed about expanding and continuing the exchange of parliamentary practice between China and Nepal in the future.

On that occasion, the vice president of CPPCC, Barter, assured that China attaches great importance to the relationship with Nepal and that it will be further enhanced in the future.

On behalf of Nepal, Prime Minister's Foreign Adviser Dr. Rupak Sapkota, Prime Minister's Private Secretary Ramesh Malla and Joint Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Krishna Prasad Dhakal participated in the meeting, while on the Chinese side, Vice Chairman of the Committee on Agriculture and Rural Areas Chitla and Chinese Ambassador to Nepal Chan Song participated in the meeting.
