Dengue Infected Rises To 20 In 4 Days

Jun 23, Kathmandu- The number of dengue infected people is increasing in Nepal. According to the Epidemiology and Disease Control Division (EDCD), in the last 4 days, 20 people have been infected with dengue throughout the country.

Out of 77 districts across the country, 1,268 people in 72 districts have been infected with dengue. Dengue infection was confirmed in 1241 people on Asadha 5.

According to the latest data of EDCD, from January 2024 to June 23, dengue has been confirmed in 1268 people across the country.

Aedes aegypti mosquito bites an infected person and spreads it to another person. Symptoms such as fever, vomiting, and runny nose are seen in case of dengue.
