Israel Attacks Gaza With Nuclear Bombs

Jun 25, Kathmandu- Israel has bombed Gaza again on Tuesday.

According to the civil defense agency in the Hamas-run territory, the deadly attack by the Israeli army killed 13 people from two schools and destroyed a house in Gaza City. While Israel plans to redeploy some troops from Gaza to the Lebanese border, US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken on Monday pressed the country's defense minister to prevent an escalation of violence.

"Blinken stressed the importance of reaching a diplomatic solution to avoid further escalation of the conflict and allow both Israeli and Lebanese families to return home", spokesman Matthew Miller said after a meeting with Defense Minister Yoav Gallant in Washington. Since the start of the Israel-Hamas war on October 7, there has been daily cross-border fire between Israel and Lebanon's Hezbollah. In the latest fighting, Iran-backed Hezbollah said Monday it carried out attacks targeting three Israeli military sites across the border.

The Israeli military said its warplanes attacked militant infrastructure in the Baalbek region of eastern Lebanon. In recent months, thousands of Lebanese and Israeli citizens have been forced to seek refuge in various countries due to fighting in the border areas of their respective countries. "Hezbollah must be removed from the border", said 49-year-old Helen Abergel, displaced from the Israeli border town of Kiryat Shamona. Agency
