All the athletes of Nepal won medals in the international taekwondo competition

Jun 25, Kathmandu- Nepal has won seven medals including five gold, one silver and one bronze in the 7th Asia Cup Open International Taekwondo Tournament. According to the National Sports Council (Rakhep), seven athletes participated in the competition held in Goa, India, and all of them won medals.

The Nepalese team has won seven medals in Gyorogi and one in Pumsey. Men senior under 80 kg Ranjit Dangaura, under 68 kg Kumar Lawat and under 58 kg Praveenjung Khadka won gold.

Sanyog Khadka of the junior men's under 23 kg and Susandhya Khadka of the cadet women's under 33 kg also won gold. Raghunath Bhandari won silver in junior men's under 32 kg and Abhas Dev won bronze in U-12 single poomsae.

Dipesh Joshi is the coach of the Nepali team and Sarita Thapa is the team manager.
