Police Patrolling The Corridor After The Rain Water Level In The Valley River Increased

Jul 06, Kathmandu- The police patrols to start in the corridor area as the water level in the rivers of the valley has increased due to the incessant rainfall which has prevented possible risks.

The spokesperson of Kathmandu Valley Police Office and Senior Superintendent of Police Dineshraj Mainali has informed that patrolling has been started in all corridors considering the impact and risks that floods may have on the residents of the coastal areas of the river. He informed that the police patrolling in all river corridors including Vagmati, Bishnumati, Manhara, Hanumante etc. is continuing. He also informed that there has been no disaster incident in the valley so far. Spokesperson Mainali also said that the security personnel of all the three districts have been kept ready for deployment.

Due to the rains, the life of most of the districts of the country has been affected and the roads have been blocked in many places. The police head office has informed that some areas have been affected by flooding, some floods and some landslides.
