Jul 07, Kathmandu- In South Korea, more than a thousand people have been admitted to the hospital after eating kimchi. According to the officials of Namwan city, there were 996 patients on Friday morning. By Saturday noon, this number had increased to 1,024.

Kimchi was distributed in the school lunch. After eating the kimchi, the students and staff of 24 schools started experiencing problems such as vomiting, diarrhoea and stomach ache.

The students started falling ill on Wednesday. This number increased from 153 on Wednesday to 745 on Thursday. It is said that norovirus was found in kimchi.
