Jul 14, Kathmandu- There's a public holiday on Shrawan 1st in Karnali province.

The state government has decided to give a holiday on 1st of Shrawan on the occasion of 'Saune Sankranti' and Deuda festival.

Lila Prasad Dhakal, Acting Secretary of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Law informed that all the government and public association organizations in the state will be given a public holiday according to the decision of the Karnali Provincial Government Council of Ministers on 17th Baisakh.
