Microsoft Down: 8.5 million computers affected worldwide

Jul 21, Kathmandu- The software company 'Microsoft' said on Friday that 8.5 million computers around the world were not working due to interruptions in IT services.

No data has yet been released about this error, which came after the update of the cyber security software CrowdStrike.

This incident is said to be the worst incident in cyber history. Microsoft is helping its users to get out of it.

The company said in a blog post, "We currently estimate that 8.5 million Windows devices are affected by the CrowdStrike update".

In this post, the company's vice president, David Weston, says that this number is less than one percent of Windows machines worldwide.
