Saurya Plane Crash: Pradeep Paudel met the families and relatives plane crash victims' families

Jul 25, Kathmandu- Health and Population Minister Pradeep Paudel has met the families and relatives of those who died in the plane crash of Saurya Airlines.

Minister Paudel said that the government has formed a committee to study the destroyed plane and that it will be thoroughly investigated after reaching the TU Teaching Hospital in Maharajgunj.

On Wednesday morning, 18 people were killed and Captain Manish Ratna Shakya was injured when a Saurya Airlines flight from Kathmandu's Tribhuvan International Airport to Pokhara crashed. He is undergoing treatment.

The bodies of those who died in the ship accident have been kept at the TU Teaching Hospital for post-mortem. The body is ready to be handed over to the family and relatives only after the post-mortem.

Minister Paudel talked to the family members and relatives of the incident victims at the TU Teaching Hospital premises.

Minister Paudel has said that he is ready to handover all the dead bodies to the families and relatives after postmortem by Friday.

"The identified bodies can be released by tomorrow evening. Work is being done to identify the body as soon as possible," he said.

He said that the government has formed a committee to investigate the ship accident and has given 45 days time.
