NIP Formed 11-member Constitutional Amendment Suggestion Task Force

Jul 25, Kathmandu- The National Independent Party has formed an 11-member Constitutional Amendment Suggestion Task Force to amend the party's constitution. The decision was taken at a meeting held at the party's central office in Banasthali on Thursday.

Announcing the decisions of the meeting, acting spokesperson of the party Manish Jha for modification, acting General Minister Kabindra Burlakoti as coordinator for amendments and suggestions, Sobita Gautam, Ganesh Karki, Dr. Toshima Karki, Kranti Shikha Dhital, Dr. Narayan Ghimire, Bijay Jairu, Megh Ale, Kamini Chaudhary, Pukar Bam and Shankar Shrestha.

He said that the meeting of the working group will be held today and the deputy coordinator and secretary will be selected. According to him, the task force has been given 90 days to submit a recommendation report. The meeting also said that a decision was taken to conduct a special campaign in Karnali under the leadership of Bipin Acharya, the joint general minister of the party, who is heading the campaign department.

Karnali special campaign Bhadra will start from the second week. He said that in order to brainstorm ideas of the party, work on capacity building, and think that more discussions are needed on the strategy, the close camp of the party will be held and it will be led by party chairman Rabi Lamichhane. He said that there is a theoretical agreement to approve the pending approval of the central department for nomination and approval, all departments should review their procedures, approve the procedures themselves and ask that the team should be like this.

Acting Spokesperson Jha Deputy Speaker Indira Rana said that the letter said to have been sent to the American Embassy was not registered at the embassy and the facilities as recommended were not provided, so there was no financial manipulation.
