India In Women's Asia Cup Final

Jul 26, Kathmandu- seven-time winner India advanced to the Women's Asia Cup 2024 final by defeating Bangladesh by a margin of 10 wickets.

Bangladesh won the toss and elected to bat first. Despite losing eight wickets in twenty overs, they managed to score just 80 runs. The Indian openers reached the Women's Asia Cup final for the ninth time, finishing the target in 11 overs after surrendering 81 runs.

Renuka Singh Thakur's outstanding bowling earned her the title of player of the match. Bangladeshi captain Nigar Sultana chose to bat first after winning the toss.

The Indian spinners dealt a serious blow to Bangladesh right away. Fast bowler Renuka Singh Thakur sent Bangladesh's top order to the pavilion consecutively and took the team's score to 21/3.
