Two Teenage Girls Died When The River Swept Them Away While Swimming

Jul 26, Kathmandu- Two teenage girls died in Dailekh when they were swept away by the river while swimming.

On Friday, 16-year-old Sapna Budha and Bhawana Budha of Mahabu rural municipality-3 Bansi of Dailekh died.

They were swept away while swimming in Chamaghat river at 11 am. Dailekh police chief DSP Navin Dahal informed that the dead body was found about three kilometers below the place where the police had swam during the search.

He said that the dead bodies was taken out of the river and further procedures were carried out for post-mortem.

Further investigation into the incident is underway.
