50% Of Discount On Purchase Of Lumbini Cable Car Tickets On Monday

Jul 27, Kathmandu- Lumbini Cable Car has introduced a 'Morning Offer' in which the ticket price is made half cheaper on Mondays from Shrawan 14 to the end of Bhadra.

DN Kayastha Sainju, Operations Manager of Cable Car, has informed that a morning offer has been introduced with a 50% discount on the ticket price when purchasing tickets from 8:30 AM to 12:00 PM on 8 Mondays from Shrawan 14 to the end of Bhadra.

The normal ticket price of the cable car is 1000 rupees. According to this offer, tourists and devotees have to pay only 500 rupees for the two-way journey of the cable car. According to Operations Manager Kayasth, ticket holders will be able to board the cable car at their convenience from noon to evening.

Apart from that, the old ticket rate has been maintained at other times.

According to the company, there is also an arrangement to offer water to Mahadev Shiva at the top station of Basantpur in the month of July. The morning offer is also applicable to Indian tourists and they can purchase tickets for Rs 500.

This cable car, the first in Lumbini province, was put into operation from the 15th of Jestha last year.

The temple of Kamakhya Devi built at the top station of the cable car and the temple of Durga Mata, who has been worshipped for hundreds of years, have become special attractions for Hindus.

Manager Prajwal Ghimire said that the number of tourists coming from different cities of Uttar Pradesh in India to visit the temple is increasing.

The top station has zipline, sky cycling, modern swing, children's garden, var pipal chaupari, pond and other religious structures.
