Kaligandaki Corridor Will Remain Closed For Four Days

Jul 27, Kathmandu- The Baglung section of the Kaligandaki Corridor, which is a project of national pride, has been at a standstill for four days. In Baglung Municipality-10 Dablyang, the corridor has been blocked for four days due to the landslide that swept away the road track.

The road, which was blocked several times, was put into operation after two weeks. After a week of operation, the road has been blocked since the morning of Shrawan 8. The road could not be opened after the track of the road was washed away. Bijay Yadav, Information Officer of the District Police Office and Deputy Superintendent of Police informed that the Kaligandaki Corridor project has not opened the road even though the rain has stopped.

Corridor Road Baglung-10 located in Dablang, the road track has washed away, so it will take time to open the road. The landslide has also blocked Balewa, Kushmisera and Bareng roads for four days. After the landslide cut off the road network in the southern part of Baglung, the travelers have been forced to travel on foot.
