Nova Hospital Vandalized After The Death Of A Young Man Going Under Treatment!

Jul 27, Kathmandu- Tension arose after the death of a young man who was being treated at Nova Hospital in Dhangadhi, Kailali. 17-year-old Nasib Chaudhary of Belauri-2, Kanchanpur, who was admitted to the hospital on Shrawan 7 due to jaundice, died on Friday.

Claiming that the young man died due to the negligence of the hospital, the tension was created by the opposition of the relatives. After he died during treatment, who was suffering from general health problems, his relatives tried to vandalize the hospital.

Ramkrishna Chaudhary, the relative of the deceased, accused the hospital of negligence and said that although they repeatedly requested to be referred elsewhere, the hospital neither provided proper treatment nor referred.

Relatives have not yet agreed to identify the body of the deceased. However, the hospital administration has claimed that there is no negligence.

Security has been increased after the incident. As the situation became more violent, the police fired 4 tear gas canisters. District Police Office Kailali police inspector Gangadat Badu said that tear gas was fired to control the situation.

Similarly, two people were injured in a clash between the police and protesters during the vandalism of the hospital. Abhik Budha and Laxman Budha of Belauri 2 Kanchanpur are among the injured. The injured are being treated at Sarathi Hospital in Dhangadhi.
