Paris Olympics: Nepal's Santu and Prince playing today

Jul 27, Kathmandu- Two Nepalese athletes are competing in the ongoing Paris Olympics today. Nepali table tennis player Santu Shresthale and badminton player Prince Dahal are playing their games today.

Santu is playing at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles from 7:30 PM Nepali time. Santu is competing against Senegal's Ibrahim in the preliminary round of the Paris Olympics.

Santu secured his place in the Olympics by defeating Sanyog Kapali of Nepal in the South Asian Qualifying Final.

Similarly, Nepali badminton star Prince will play against the defending champion Viktor Axelsen in the group stage of Paris Olympics 2024. This match will be played from 12:55 pm according to Nepali time.

The 19-year-old Prince is becoming the first Nepali to play in the Olympics in badminton. He got this opportunity in the universality quota. He is world number 1 in juniors and is currently ranked 172nd in the World Badminton Federation rankings.
