Aug 08, Kathmandu- The production of the upcoming film 'Narasimha: Avatar', which is to be directed by director Diwakar Bhattarai, has been announced. Along with the announcement of the film, the makers have also released the theme poster.

Meaning of Narasimha – is the fierce incarnation of Lord Vishnu. This is the fourth incarnation out of ten incarnations of lord Bishnu. The demon Hiranyakashyapa had done penance with the Lord and cleverly asked for a boon. Then all the gods took shelter of Shiva and started talking about calming Narasimha's anger. Shiva had to take the incarnation of Sarveshwar to appease Narasimha's anger. The war between the two continued for 18 days and on the 18th day Lord Narasimha gave up his life due to exhaustion.
