Aug 31, Kathmandu- The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) is set to offer a prize of three lakh rupees to the players participating in the ICC T-20 World Cup in America and West Indies recently.

The CAN working committee meeting has decided to award Rs.3 lakh to the team players and Rs.150,000 to the other support staff. Nepal had three defeats in the four matches it played in the World Cup. One game was canceled due to rain.

Similarly, CAN has decided to give a salary of 15/15 thousand rupees to two women and three men players in each state through the cricket association of all the seven states. It is said that the decision will be applicable for one year from September 1.
