According to the Department of Water and Meteorology, heavy rain has fallen in Madi and surrounding areas in the last three hours, and this pattern is expected to continue.

District Administration Office Chitwan has said that there is a high risk of flash floods in the Riu river and its tributaries. According to the Kalyanpur rain gauge center, there is still a possibility of heavy rain in the Madi area.

Special attention has been requested to be alert as sudden floods may occur in Riu River and its tributaries.
