Sep 01, Kathmandu- Nepali national cricket team has left for Sri Lanka. The Nepalese team has left for Sri Lanka today for three one-day cricket matches with the Sri Lanka Development Squad. The Nepali team went to Sri Lanka to prepare for the ICC Cricket World Cup League-2.
The first match between Nepal and Sri Lanka development squad will be held on Tuesday. Similarly, the second match will be played next Thursday and the third and final match will be played on Saturday. The 19-member team under the captaincy of Rohit Paudel for the tour of Sri Lanka has been announced.
In the ICC Cricket World Cup League-2, Nepal is playing a three-nation one-day series in Canada next September. In this series, along with the domestic team, Nepal and Oman will compete. After this, the Nepali team will have a series in America next October. In this series, along with home team America, Nepal and Scotland will compete.
