Sep 03, Kathmandu- Four people have died due to dengue infection so far.
According to the latest statistics, out of 6,831 infected people, four people have died. According to the Epidemiology and Communicable Disease Control Division (EDCD), 4 people have been infected and 4 people have died from dengue which has been spreading since the second week of last Magh. According to EDCD, infection has been confirmed in 77 districts except Humla and Mustang. Out of the seven provinces, Gandaki province has the highest number of dengue cases. Three thousand 229 people, i.e. 47.3 percent of the infected people, are in Gandaki.
Similarly, 1,723 people are infected with dengue in Bagmati province, 815 people are infected in Koshi, and 106 people are infected in Madhesh. Similarly, 474 people in Lumbini province, 105 people in Karnali are infected with dengue. Similarly, 379 people are infected with dengue in Far West, according to EDCD.
