Nine Died In Vietnam Due To Typhoon

Sep 08, Kathmandu- Nine people have died in Vietnam after typhoon Yagi hit southern China and the Philippines.

The strong typhoon, resulted in the destruction of building roofs, the sinking of boats, and landslides in multiple coastal regions of Vietnam. Tragically, four individuals lost their lives in a landslide that took place in Hoa Binh Province, located in the northern mountainous area of Vietnam, on Sunday morning.

The typhoon that struck North Vietnam on Saturday, reaching speeds of 149 km per hour, has resulted in significant destruction to infrastructure. Tragically, one individual lost their life when a tree was uprooted by the fierce winds in Hai Duong province on Friday.

Fishermen were taken aback as they assessed the destruction on Sunday morning in Ha Long Bay, a site recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
