Nepal Instructs Protest Against The Decision To Clear 20 Meters From River Bank

Sep 08, Kathmandu- CPN Unified Samajwadi Party Chairman Madhav Kumar Nepal has instructed to start a protest against the Supreme Court's decision to clear 20 meters more land from the river bank in the valley.

President Nepal concluded that the court's decision to clear riverside land violates the constitutional right of the people over private property and ordered to start a pressure program.

According to the instructions of President Nepal, the Samajwadi Party is going to stand on the side of the people and conduct a press program by discussing all kinds of court decisions.

Nepal has also instructed the relevant committees of the party to communicate the party's views to the people by immediately interacting with the affected people.

Addressing the delegation team that came on Sunday with the leaders of the valley, President Nepal gave such instructions to the party's Kathmandu district president LP Shrestha.

According to him, this conclusion was reached after a discussion with the delegation including Lalitpur district president Harikrishna Thapa and Bhaktapur district president Shyam Basnet.

President Nepal, senior leader Pramesh Hamal, vice presidents Rajendra Pandey, Gangalal Tuladhar, Jagannath Khatiwada and general secretary Ghanshyam Bhusal were present at the event.

Central Secretary Savitra Bhusal and central members and MPs of Bagmati Province were present in the program. The party is now going to make public its official opinion on this.
