Nepal has no enmity with anyone, everyone is friendly: Prime Minister Oli

Sep 16, Kathmandu- Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said that he will present his views at the United Nations General Assembly by focusing on national issues, problems, and challenges.

Informing the House of Representatives that he is going to the General Assembly on Monday, he said that there he will talk about Nepal's policy, approach, stance, problems, achievements and the way forward.

He said that issues such as the democracy achieved by Nepal and the constitution made to organize democracy will also be raised in the General Assembly.

"I will clarify the democracy that we have achieved, the constitution that we have made to organize the nation and the various aspects of the constitution and the commitment to Nepal's democracy. Nepal is a sovereign and independent country", he said.

He also said that he will express Nepal's commitment in terms of fulfilling its national interests, legitimate national interests, reasonable national interests and international responsibilities.

He will also inform that Nepal wants to maintain relations with neighbouring countries as a good neighbor.

He said that Nepal's foreign policy is guided by the policy of 'no enmity with anyone, friendship with all'.

He said that the United Nations Charter, principles of non-aligned movement, non-interference in internal affairsin anyone's sovereignty and rejection of interference in one's independent interests and policy are the established policies of Nepal. He said that the matter will be placed in the United Nations.
