Sep 19, Kathmandu- The movie 'Khusma' starring Dhiraj Magar and Upasana Singh Thakuri in lead roles has been released today.

The film was released on Thursday this week on the occasion of Constitution Day.

Ashok Thapa Magar has written and directed the film based on a love story set in the environment of the Magar community. The film showed the love that sprouted amid the effects of the People's War on screen.

Along with Dheeraj and Upasana, Maotse Gurung, Khadak Bahadur Pun (Khabpu), Sujata Rai, Bijay Subba, Raj Thapa Kaucha, Astitta Bhatchan, Sangeeta Thapa Magar, Arun Magar, Sara Rai, Shweta Mishra, Bibesh Magar and others have acted in the film.

Produced under the banner of M Media Pvt Ltd, the film is produced by Bir Bahadur Lama, Chandra Bahadur Bhattachan, Maan Bahadur Dhanah Magar and Betan Magar, while the co-producer is Sushmita Budhathoki.

The production side is confident that the film, which received praise at the premiere, will be supported by the audience in the halls. The film's song 'Rukumkot' is also in the news recently.
