Sep 19, Kathmandu- The government has organized a special program to celebrate Constitution Day. On the occasion of Constitution Day, a special program has been organized at Sainik Manch Tudikhel on Thursday morning. In commemoration of the day that the Constituent Assembly was promulgated, the government has been celebrating the 3rd of Ashwin every year as the National Day.

President Ram Chandra Paudel, Vice President Ram Sahaya Yadav, Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, Speaker Devraj Ghimire, Chief Justice Bishwambhar Prasad Shrestha and other high-ranking people are participating in the program.

In the ceremony, cultural tableaux, songs and dances were presented by various agencies including the Nepali Army, Nepal Police, Armed Police.

In the ceremony, the helicopter of the Nepalese army showered flowers and a white dove, a symbol of peace, was flown. The constitution was promulgated on Ashwin 3, 2072. Since then, the 3rd of Ashwin has been celebrated as Constitution Day every year.

On the occasion of the Constitution Day, the government has also called to celebrate Diwali with grandeur all over the country.
