Police Prepares To Release Those Who Are Shouting Slogans Against Oli On Darbarmarg Today

Sep 20, Kathmandu- It has been found that a person who was arrested while chanting slogans against Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli in support of Kathmandu Mayor Balen Shah at a concert held at Darbarmarg on Thursday is a absconding accused in a murder case.

As stated by Navraj Adhikari, the spokesperson for the Kathmandu Police Complex, one of the four individuals apprehended on Thursday has been identified as a fugitive in a murder investigation. The arrested person is 19-year-old Tilak Khadka, who lives in Bajhang Mast Rural Municipality-3 and lives in Machhapokhari. A case was filed against him three months ago by the police circle Darbarmarg. Three months ago, he injured Prabesh Lama, who was studying at the Trichandra campus, by hitting him with a 'knock'. After the incident, the police arrested Khadka, who was absconding, and was preparing to extend his remand.
