Constitution Day Celebrated In America

Sep 20, Kathmandu- The Nepali Embassy in America has organized the 'Nepal Day' program to celebrate the Constitution Day.

Acting Ambassador Kumar Kharel informed about the features of the Constitution of Nepal 2072 at the 'Nepal Day' program organized in the auditorium of the Nepali Embassy in Washington DC.

On behalf of non-resident Nepaleese, Dr. Arjun Banjade, President of Non-Resident Association of Nepalis in America, discussed the importance of Constitution Day and mentioned that the non-resident Nepalese citizenship should be fully implemented by creating laws as per the constitution of Nepal.

The program was attended by representatives of the Nepali Embassy, ​​representatives of various organizations of the Nepali community in America.

Regarding the Nepal Day program, the team led by Rajendra Wagle, president of Nepali Society Texas, submitted a memorandum to Acting Ambassador Kharel for the immediate operation of a consular camp in Dallas, Texas and the establishment of a consular office in Dallas.
