Sep 21, Kathmandu- A young woman has died due to lightning strike. According to the police, 24-year-old Rajna Budha of Nisikhola rural municipality-3 Kitni of Baglung died on the spot due to the lightning strike on Friday night.

After the incident, the locals informed the police at 1 am. The police led by senior constable Keshav Budhatho of the area police office Zhivakhola rescued the family of the deceased.

Despite the incident, other members of the family, including the old man's 2-year-old daughter, are safe. Although they were slightly injured, they did not have to go elsewhere for further treatment, so they stayed at the shelter of their neighbors.

Police Inspector Pratap Paudel said that their house was destroyed by lightning and they were moved to another place.
