Sep 21, Kathmandu- Birgunj Customs Office has collected revenue of 25 billion 403 million 143 thousand in two months of the current financial year.

According to the office, the Customs Department has set a target of 35 billion 572 million 756 thousand revenue collection till Bhadra, and 71 percent of the target has been achieved. According to the customs office, the revenue increased by nearly one billion in the current year compared to the same period last year.

By Bhadra of last year, 70 percent of the revenue was collected out of the target of collecting 35 billion 4 million 442 thousand. The Customs Department had collected Rs 12 billion 163 million 258 thousand in revenue despite setting a target of collecting Rs 16 billion 868 million 700 thousand last Shrawan.

According to the office, 13 billion 239 million 800 thousand revenue was collected in Shrawan of last year, while the target of 18 billion 704 million revenue collection was set.
