60 People Have Died In The Flash Flood, 64 People Are Still Missing

Sep 28, Kathmandu- 60 people have died in landslides due to incessant rainfall across the country. Similarly, 64 people have gone missing.

According to Shailendra Thapa, Assistant Spokesperson of Armed Forces, 5 people died in Panchthar, 2 in Dhankuta, 11 in Kathmandu, 5 in Bhaktapur, 18 in Lalitpur, 14 in Kavre, 1 in Dhading, 1 in Sindhupalchok and 2 in Dolakha. In a similar incident, 34 people were also injured.

The Armed Police has released the details of the number of deaths and disappearances since 4 pm on Friday. During the same period, 2 thousand 103 people were rescued safely.
